I picked up my monitor on Friday, is a asus vn247 I love it. Speakers are m audio bx5 d2. I really love how this came together thanks to my fellow oppo gamers for the tips, now to buy some games any recommendations?

If you can get a racing chair you’ll be so much better off. I played like this for years until I found a good deal on a used playseat (forza edition, even though I only play PC racing sims, console sims feel simcade to me). Found mine on ebay for like $200. Best decision I’ve ever made. That and the fanatec clubsport v2 pedals. Next stop replacing my g25 wheel and shifter! But dear god the clubsport pedals are amazing. It’s unbelievable how much better they are.

Rfactor is a good sim, TDU is good if you just want a fun free-roam racing game.

Some online races and hell even the AI competition is nutso. But what racing sim isn’t? You can catch it onsale on steam most of the time with the dlc for relatively cheap. They just released a new track/cars for free. Several new cars actually. The only complaint I have is some achievements are just not beatable. Some are ridiculously easy.

For non-racing dcs is a great military flight sim. Free stuff is team fortress 2, dota2 (or the other one, I forgot because I don’t play them). Then the valve pack (half life, left 4 dead, portal, counter strike).
There are a couple games that I haven’t played but are pretty popular right now: the rocket racing league (soccer with cars), kerbal space program, elite: dangerous (or star citizen or eve:valkyrie) which is a “pilot a ship around space game”

Not with the G27 particularly, but quite a bit with that kind of stuff in general. What’s happening/not happening? I assume you installed the drivers already?
